SUPPORT US THIS GIVING TUESDAY!!

Information

Dear family and friends,

These past years, your substantial contributions to the Legionaries of Christ and the Consecrated Women communities have sustained and significantly empowered our mission to engage the culture faithfully and compassionately one person at a time. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering provision and friendship.

The Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi are embarking on an exciting journey this coming year. Your backing has transformed our home, enabling us to bring our total gift of consecration to youth work, young adults, women, education, archdiocesan initiatives, and local Regnum Christi apostolates. Thanks to past donations, we are renovating our chapel, adding two new bedroom spaces, re-building our deck, and preparing to welcome Jennifer Ristine, our newest member in November. Jennifer comes with an abundance of experience in formation, teaching and giving spiritual direction so she will offer that service to the RC sections while she continues teaching online for the Spiritual Direction Program at Divine Mercy University.

We are remarkably busy in the mission field. Specifically, Lisa Small continues her work as community director for the Consecrated Women community, communications director for the Consecrated Women in North America and membership on the Everest Board. As of August, she is also tasked with the leadership role of Regnum Christi Director of the local area, helping coordinate all our different Regnum Christi apostolates and ministries so that we can maximize our people and resources. Regina Doyle, Rose Wieber, and Elizabeth Stromberg continue influencing young women, missionaries, teens, and children in their walk with Christ at Everest, ECYD, and Young Adults apostolates. One highlight this past year was welcoming 5 teenagers to be ECYD Missionaries for 5 weeks in the summer – helping run our youth camp here in Michigan as well as another two camps in Canada. Mariana Ortega accompanies and shares her love of Christ with those in the Spanish community and with events at the Consecrated Women’s home like ‘paint and wine’ formation nights. Yvonne Fontaine continues to work and pray with the Healing Ministry and is completing her formation through the Encounter School of Ministry.

Because of your consistent giving, the Legionaries of Christ are changing lives as priests, leaders, chaplains, counselors, and healers. Given our commitment to Christ, individuals, families, youth and young adults, communities within the Archdiocese of Detroit, Regnum Christi apostolates, and Catholic schools are transformed and thrive by faith and grace. Specifically, Fr. Jason Smith is grateful for his role as superior of the Legionaries of Christ community and Everest Board member; he also completes his master's degree in psychology from Divine Mercy University at the end of 2024. Fr. Jason Brooks, with the help of a Regnum Christi team of lay members, expands the Healing Ministry to reach many individuals, families, and parishes across Southeast Michigan and other states. Fr. Thomas Salazar and Fr. Luis Felipe Villalobos advance their work at Everest mentoring boys, teens, and young mento follow Christ; they look forward to taking teens to Rome, Spain, and France this coming year. Fr. Juan Sabadell and Fr. Thanh Nguyen focus on the Hispanic community, men, women, and couples with healing, deliverance, retreats, and counseling.

Both our homes have become vibrant centers for retreats, spiritual direction, events, and community outreach. We are extending our mission impact beyond Clarkston and Bloomfield Hills, reaching individuals, families, and communities across Southeast Michigan to know the joy and peace of Christ and be part of a community of apostles. Enclosed is a Mission Impact insert highlighting the breadth of our work in Michigan, touching over 15,000people this past year.

As we receive no financial help from the Archdiocese of Detroit or our national offices, your donations are critical. We invite you to continue making a difference with a year-end gift. Whether it is $5,000,$2,000, $1,000, $500, $250, $100, or a recurring gift - any amount meaningful to you. Every donation broadens our tasks at hand and magnifies our impact.

- Write a check to LC Pastoral Services, Inc. and/or Consecrated Women, Inc. and mail the checks back to the Legionary address(2460 Opdyke Road, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, 48304). Each community will receive whatever is directly given to them so please write two checks if you want to give to both.

- Donate online by clicking on the buttons below.

We invite you to join us through your prayers, work, and financial support.

With heartfelt gratitude, may you and your loved ones experience a beautiful and hope-filled Advent season.
